VEAC Statewide Assessment of Public Land (VEAC, 2017)
In September 2014, the then Minister for Environment and Climate Change requested that the Victorian Environmental Assessment Council (VEAC) carry out an investigation into public land in Victoria.

Overview
On 17 September 2014, VEAC was requested to conduct a Statewide Assessment of Public Land. On 2 April 2015, the request was amended by the Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Water. The Terms of Reference for the investigation are available here.
The Final Report on VEAC's Statewide Assessment of Public Land was publicly released on Monday 8 May 2017. A supplement to the discussion paper has also been released with updated information and maps.
Interactive online maps (webmaps)
The interactive map enables users to view the map and associated information using pop-up windows containing details of each study, overlays and other annotations. A tool bar allows the users to zoom in-out, pan around the map, select a basemap and identify features on each map.
