VEAC to continue to advise government on environment

15 October 2010

The Victorian Environmental Assessment Council (VEAC) will continue its important role as an independent body providing environmental advice to the Brumby Labor Government, Environment and Climate Change Minister Gavin Jennings announced today.

Mr Jennings said the decision to retain VEAC in its current form was the best way for the council to retain its autonomy and independence and provide the best possible environmental advice to government.
